"A natural cane which offers us fresh notes of citrus fruits (Limes / Orange), very vegetable (Hay / Medicinal herb), of peppers. This cane brings us its sugar just cooked, slightly thick as candied, with the side (Floral / Liquorice) we would have the impression to have a drink type cola at the end of mouth.the rum and also rather milky as a yoghurt.In short, it is a sugar cane which is sublimated with this brut de colonne, we manage to be as close as possible to this one it is very interesting and very good!"

"Vergleichstasting mit RX1247 An der Nase frage ich mich wo denn hier der Alkohol ist, keinerlei alkoholische Schärfe wir und breit! Der Alkohol ist natürlich schon zu vernehmen aber transportiert viel Frucht und grasige Aromen. Dieser hat im direkten Vergleich etwas "schmuddeliges" wie manche Clairins. Am Gaumen geschmacklich blasser als mich die Nase erwarten lassen hat. Trotzdem intensiv, kräftig aber nicht so ausdifferenziert. Wenn im Nachklang die knapp über 70% ABV langsam nachlassen, treten wieder deutlich mehr Aromen hervor! Ein sehr guter weißer Rum, der sowohl pur aus auch in intensiven Cocktails eine starke Figur macht. Wegen der Nuance an mehr Süße bekommt der Jahrgang 2015 einen Punkt mehr von mir. Beide Abfüllungen sind sich sehr ähnlich und vorbildliche Beispiele dafür, was ausschließlich im Stahltank gereifer Rum kann."

"This one really kicks a.. and I like it, A LOT. The proof actually helps enhance the flavours and I left it for 15 minutes before nosing and sipping. By then most flavours were already there. After 30 minutes it was at full bloom. The nose is truly Agricole with the vegetal, grassy and wet hay, almost like a meadow. There is also fruit and sugarcane. The palate is also a true Agricole, earthy with grass and wet hay again. The flavours are very intense, in a good way. Spices and floral notes complement the end. The finish is very, very long and warm with a vegetal note. "
