Another pretty good release from Rum Nation. Try to let it rest for at least 15 minutes and also give it a try with a few drops of water to release all the flavours. The nose is well balanced and fruity with wood, chocolate, molasses and licorice. The palate is lightly bitter and alcoholic of you don't rest it. Wood, fruit, molasses and licorice trailed by a light herbal note. I like the spiciness on the palate that sticks for a while. The finish is long and warm with wood, chocolate and dried fruits.
Whisky finish is very present overall. Nice one - however the Versailles profile is somewhat masked.
