This bottler really knows how to pick the good casks for their range. The nose is fruity with smoky wood, vanilla, chocolate and a hint of floral notes. The palate is also fruity with smoky wood and vanilla, nuts and light menthol. The finish is long and well balanced with smoky wood and dried fruit. Price to quality is pretty OK in my mind.
Boy oh boy this is good. I cannot describe the particular 👃 & mouthfeel but I will try my best. 👃 Is very fresh, fruity and sweet. Not sure what is the freshness maybe a hint of mint or other floral elements with spices such as vanilla. The best however, is the 👅. Very round taste of chocolate, caramel, nougat, créme brulé, vanilla and subtle spiciness with peppery notes accompanied by cinnamon and supple fruitiness. I only wish the finish would be longer. Very very good naturally sweet rum. I cannot believe this is unsweetened. I am blown away. At this moment bright 9 but I still have 2ml to revisit.
