The "Ambre Rhum" by Ferroni is a unique blend of rums distilled from molasses in various countries, aged for 1 year and 6 months. With an ABV of 40%, this rum showcases a fragrant nose of vanilla, caramel, and banana leading to a palate rich in woody and spicy notes with hints of crème brûlée. Reviews suggest it as a good sipper with a multicultural taste profile influenced by Marseille's diversity, though some find it lacking complexity or a more substantial aging period. Its smoothness and sweet notes make it suitable for relaxed sipping or mixed in cocktails.

"A sweet and very young rum that is out of balance in my mind. Should have been aged longer or set at a higher ABV."
"7,8:On the nose, the first thing that strikes you is the soft wood, very pleasant. The orange, peaches are quickly mixed in with the caramel. This is a greedy profile, but it does not necessarily give the impression that the rum is sweet. This is even amplified by a candy side as well as a light almond note. After airing it becomes more bourbony, roasted with some smoky, iodine with quite strong metallic notes as addition and herbal-sage, spicy. 7,7: On the palate, it is confirmed: it is not sweet and it is good, buttery! We find again this very pleasant wood with some vanilla, discovered on the nose, some candied cherry, interesting canned/smoky peaches, some spiciness-nutmeg. One might think that its "small" 40° would make it a rum that lacks a bit of pep, but this is not the case.It is quite thick, syrupy and very smooth!Later it comes a bit yeasty, bitter and dry. 7,2:The finish is medium, still on the delicate woody note and there is also a touch of almond. It is also slightly peppery with gunpowder note."
"Profil léger sur la rondeur avec une belle gourmandise (miel, vanille) et du fruit (pêche, raisin blanc). Très bon sipper."
"C’est sympa, a essayer en cocktail."
