It was distilled in 2008 from Molasses and then aged for 12 years. The rum is bottled at cask strength and has an ABV of 61,5%. On the nose, a pineapple note that I often detect in Ten Cane. In addition, there is a great spice with lots of cinnamon. However, the alcohol could be a little better integrated. Intense and spicy on the palate. Berry fruit notes come in and bring a nice contrast to the spice. An endless finish. Great Ten Cane!
A very nice rum from the defunkt Ten Cane destillery. Light oak and spices from nose to finish and there is hint of Caroni actually which is not bad. I like the spices mixed with the fruit. Well balanced and complex rum.
