"This was the last tasting in Hague before going to Amsterdam the following day. A near perfect rum once rested for at least 15 minutes the nose and palate evolve into something really exciting. The nose is funky and fruity with varnish, ester, vanilla and nuts as well as light wood. The palate is funky, dry and maybe for some a tad too bitter. But I like it a lot. Fruit and spices are well balanced with light notes of varnish. The finish is extremely long, dry and bitter with fruits and spices. When released then price to quality was very good. Even if you find a bottle today I think it'll be well worth the price."
