Just picked up a larger sample of this rum and sampling it while going through all the rums tasted during the German Rum Festival. This is not a bad rum, but like most of the other rums from J.M it's been watered down too much. The nose is light in its flavours and they're only released slowly. The palate is very different from the nose, but still very light and thin. There is a light bitter note in there as well. The finish is medium to long and again thin with a light bitterness to it.
Pour mes goûts ce rhum possède tout ce que j’aime. Le côté boisé, riche et ancien est très présent au nez comme en bouche. Je recommande ce rhum pour tout amateur, connaisseur ou même débutant. Pas très puissant certes, mais il comblera les papilles de beaucoup d’entre nous.
Wenn dieser J.M nicht so sehr reduziert worden wäre… er hätte Potenzial für eine Spitzenbewertung gehabt!! Leider wie so oft bei J. M, schade
Très bon Jolie odeur de vanille, miel et boisé, et au goût on resent la même plus amande cannelle pomme. Belle longueur 😍
