Cuvée de la Montagne - Rhum Blanc Agricole

Un excellent rhum blanc pour des ti-punchs ou même pour boire pure comme une eau-de-vie. Un parfum frais de canne à sucre tout au long de la dégustation.

Thinking about the price tag you actually do pretty well here. A good white Agricole that will split waters. Fruity yet Agricole with some floral notes and lovely sugar cane. Can be a good sipper but I also think it could make for a great mixer.

Blumiger Geruch, erinnerst etwas an Obstler. Angenehmer Geschmack sehr kurz, angenehm im Abgang. Guter Agricole.

A top Agricole. Has a wonderfully beautiful and fresh aroma on the nose. Tastes fruity and herbal, but just as it should be. Alcohol perfectly integrated. I can definitely recommend it.

Very balanced classic agricole. Instantly likable in the nose. Pretty sweet and velvety in taste. Mineral. Some vegetal vs freshness. Grassy. Very easy in lots of aspects. But good easy. This is a very good spirit.

Ein Gedicht. Schon in der Nase saftig, zitrusfrisch, limettig. Speichelfluss bereits beim riechen. Am Gaumen dann wieder saftig, süß, Limette und super rund und ausgewogen. Alkohol extrem gut eingebunden. Im Abgang eine würzige Süße wie eine Mischung aus Blüten- und Akazienhonig. Ein toller entspannter Rum zum pur genießen. Sehr erfrischend. Zum mixen wahrscheinlich aufgrund der 45% etwas zu sanft.

Tollee Blanc, sehr rund und elegant

Excellent but not exceptional, if that makes sense. If easy drinking at best value is your gig you may just have found your new favorite blanc here. Goes down far easier than most RAB’s. But for all that safety it loses a bit in excitement.

Tasted this unaged rum during my recent visit to the distillery. It rested for a minimum of 3 months with a slow ABV reduction during 2 months before bottled as for most of their unaged rums. The nose is complex, intense, balanced, fruity, spicy, sweet and floral with scents of mineral, lemon, strawberry, pepper, grass and sugarcane. At the palate it’s balanced, full bodied, round, fruity, floral, sweet and spicy with flavors of orange, banana, mineral, honey, sugarcane and peppers. The finish is long, tangy and spicy with flavors of peppers and tobacco.

Un rhum agricole blanc assez doux qui laisse facilement ses arômes s’exprimer. Les fruits (notamment citron vert et agrumes) se confondent bien avec la fraîcheur florale et herbeuse du rhum, le tout ennivelé de canne à sucre. L’attaque en bouche se fait en douceur, avec une petite touche minérale qui agrémente l’ensemble. Bien que la rondeur en bouche soit appréciable, la finale tombe en désuétude et se dissipe rapidement. Il en reste pas moins un bon rhum blanc.

Agréable et rond au nez les 45 degrés merci pour la réduction lente. Rarement j’ai apprécié autant un rhum agricole « jeune ».

Entry-level white Agricole and for the price you can't go wrong. Alcohol is well integrated. Fresh, floral and grassy notes. Some citrus fruit. It lacks complexity, but I didn't expect that at this price.

A nice bottle, a little below the cuvée des Alizés in my opinion!

C'est bon, mais il reste relativement simple. Pour les ti punch, je lui préfère le depaz doré

Solid white agricole, but nothing too overwhelming. The nose is defined by sugarcane and light fruity notes, maybe overripe yellow melon and a touch of something fermented maybe even rotten. The palate is rich with black pepper, orange, grapefruit, and pronounced sea salt, providing a pleasant contrast. The finish is vegetal, full of cut grass and herbs, with a lingering citrus note. Overall, it’s an interesting rum, but one that may be a bit too average for some.
