Interesting aromatics. Here floral notes come together with peanuts and fennel.Lots of wood on the palate and quite dry. Due to the dilution, the finish is unfortunately relatively flat. All in all, however, a successful Agricole, which will please lovers of barrel-heavy Agricole.
10.07.2020 A nice tasting meeting new and old friends. Notes Medium dark in colour. Nose Light, floral, light wood, light citrus, sugarcane, light nutty, coconut. Palate Lightly oily, fresh, light wood, light floral, faint honey, light chocolate, nutts, light coconut. Finish Short to medium, light, light wood, fruits, faint chocolate, faint salt.
A rather weird Bally indeed. This has a fantastic nose for 43%, it is complex. Rather elegant and really full and not watered down. Unfortunately the pallet really misses out on those great smells. In the end think of you more percent ABV what have done wonders to really push this to the top.
Much too woody. The latter dominates and crushes everything.
