"30.05.2020 Had a nice afternoon with friends and friends of friends including some nice bottles of rum. Notes Medium dark to dark in colour. Nose Fresh, intense, nutts, light chocolate, wood, light smoke, light sugarcane. Palate Oily, wood, roasted, natural sweetness, medium dry, dried fruit, light caramel, light chocolate, nutts, faint ginger. Finish Medium to long, wood, natural sweetness, light chocolate, medium dry, citrus."
"Thick and syrupy rum. Pretty sweet aftertaste. But also dry and bitter. Coffee and cocoa powder. Intense and big. Warm. This is the sort of rum you need to be in te mood for. If you are...you will love it. Good pick from Cadenheads"
"A very dark and heavy rum. Still a little fruit on the nose of dried dates and raisins, otherwise lots of wood, spices and roasted aromas. Quite sweet, but dry and bitter at the same time. A rum more for winter evenings by the fireplace with cookies and gingerbread. It also goes well on a cold, rainy summer evening in Germany."
