New Grove Savoir-Faire Ville Bague is a limited-edition rum from the Grays distillery in Mauritius, distilled in 2004 and aged for 16 years. Despite the relatively low alcohol content, it surprises both on the nose and on the palate with balanced woody notes paired with Armagnac, fruity, herbal notes. Unfortunately, the notes fade very quickly.
Pleasant surprise. Beautifully woody in the positive sense. Unfortunately, a somewhat volatile fellow in terms of smell and taste. Very good PLV.
Cherry blossoms, cherry and Armagnac on the nose. Super delicious sweetness on the palate. In the finish complemented by herbal notes.
향 : 오크, 캬라멜 베이스에 바닷물같은 짭짤하면서 시큼한 향. 무겁지도 가볍지도 않다. 맛 : 처음엔 캐러멜이 달콤하게 치고 나오면서 흙, 계속 머금고 있으면 쓴 알약 맛이 올라옴. 목넘김 : 마실때마다 가루약 맛이 누적되며 강해진다, 99% 다크초콜릿의 씁쓸함도. 입안에서 스월링할때는 없던 복숭아 계통의 과실향이 뒤늦게 느껴진다.
