“Very wonderful nose! Some harmonious notes of fruits (a lot of grapefruit), roasted aromas, almond and oak. In mouth and the finish can‘t continue from the warm welcome! I like the bitte, grapefruit notes. A big minus is the actually price tag of 400€ too. The alcohol could be integrated better. Nose: glue, fruity, mandarin, raisin, oak, vanilla, spicy, roasted, almond, toffee and some herbal notes Mouth: dry, bitter, round, tannins, licorice, roasted nuts, dark chocolate, oak, vanilla, spicy, grapefruit, nougat, earthy(not the agricole typical one), black tea Finish: Medium long, bitter, tannins, dry, grapefruit, barrel(oak), vanilla roasted”

“Un Savanna intriguant au profil versatile et dont la réputation n’est plus à faire. On a un superbe nez, profond et élégant, très fruité (pomme verte, fruits jaunes, raisin, fruits secs), avec de belles notes épicées (cannelle, poivre) et une touche pâtissière et de colle. Le boisé se fond dans la masse avec El tabac et les notes rôties. Un profil olfactif très élaboré. L’attaque en bouche est plus vive et incisive. Les épices prennent le pas avec les notes boisées, le thé noir, mais surtout une sensation d’amertume qui se manifeste avec le cacao, le chocolat noir et la réglisse. Les notes rôties amplifient cette sensation de sécheresse au palais. L’alcool est bien intégré, mais le profil est peut-être plus concentré et moins équilibré. La finale poursuit sur cette longueur tannique, sèche et fumée. L’amertume est bien présente avec le chocolat noir, les notes de fût de chêne et les épices (poivre, piment, réglisse). Un joli Savanna qui explore différents horizons entre le nez et le palais, mais qui manque peut-être un brin de cohérence dans son ensemble pour atteindre les sommets.”

“Echt schöner und ungewöhnlicher Savanna traditionelle... Schöne Komposition aus Minze, Schwarztee, dunklen Beeren, Grapefruit, Fenchelsamen und Lakritze sowie etwas dunkler Schokolade. Gefällt mir überraschend gut! Hintenraus nur auch etwas Kräuterig, und modrig nach morschem Holz...”
