I'm Oliver – together with Jakob, Robert, and Lukas, we started RumX in 2018 as a small passion project in Stuttgart, back then under the name Rum Tasting Notes.
What began as a digital tasting diary is now the world's most comprehensive platform for rum fans: over 24,000 bottlings, 250,000+ independent reviews, and an active community with 46,000 members. We combine the collective intelligence of our community with an integrated marketplace, allowing you to shop securely and manage your collection directly from the app.
The goal? To offer you, the rum connoisseur, a place where you can choose with confidence—without paperwork, detours, or expert jargon.
5,8:On the nose, the first impression we get is slightly sweet, with hint of vanilla, oak and some spice and hints of red fruits. 5,5:On the palate, the attack is woody with oak barrel wood, sweet intense vanilla and some spice, just a bit dry, a bit sweeter than the nose, featuring brown sugar, flambeed banana and a chocolate, so vanilla-heavy rum to “pour over ice cream'' or mix with cola. 5:The finish is quite long, woody, very sweet with peppery notes and vanilla.

Good for mixing. Excellent for beginners drink purely
