Une sensation de rhum blanc dans un corps de rhum vieux. Une très belle canne avec un côté gourmand, juste excellent...
Un rhum bien boisé et fruité, frais et gourmand, très agréable. La signature gustative est complexe, voire extravagante. Peut-être la base de noix de coco grasse.
Ce belle assemblage / vieillissement de l'île Maurice me fait penser à la fameuse distillerie Foursquare. En effet ce rum nous offre une énorme gourmandise (Pâtissier / Caramel au Beurre / Noix grasse), il est très tropical (Banane / Coco / Ananas). Le bois nous amène ses notes sans bousculer le jus de base (Cuir / Épices douces / Céréales (Malté whisky)). Sous ces notes de bois, on arrive à trouver le petit côté végétale de la canne (Zeste d'orange / Frais / Herbal / Bagasse). Pour finir, une touche empyreumatique (Fumée / Toasté (Café)). C'est sympa l'île Maurice vraiment !
Beaucoup de caractère un ensemble très puissant fumé et boisé avec de l’épice et presque une touche de rhum jamaïcain en fond.
