Diamond & Port Mourant El Dorado Rare Collection <PM> SVW
This blend leans heavily into classic Demerara territory – lots of licorice, chocolate, wood, and herbal-tobacco notes, rounded out by touches of caramel and fruit. The integration is widely praised, though not everyone loves the PM-forward character; one to try if you enjoy bold, earthy rums.
Deep, complex Demerara—licorice and tobacco shine throughout.

How does this rum taste?
- Sehr komplex, ausgewogen, interessant
- Sehr gut! Epischer Abgang
- Sehr runder Blend
El Dorado Rare Collection <PM> SVW brings together the earthy, herbal power of Port Mourant and the richer, sweeter facets of Diamond. Big notes of licorice, tobacco, and dark chocolate stand out, with supporting hints of caramel and those trademark Demerara dried fruits. Several agree: "minze ist dominant am Gaumen, auch sehr bitter, trocken und erdig" (Tim), and TheRhumhoe likes the balance of "originalité et la vivacité de Port Mourant à la rondeur lourde et expressive de Diamond." The result is a complex, layered spirit with a long, spicy finish and a mouthfeel that's oily and warming.

To Diamond & Port Mourant
"A highlight in the El Dorado Rare Collection. Pleasant sweetness thanks to the Diamond profile from tropical maturation, plus the rather tart notes of the Port Mourant style - an excellent match. Holds its own with the Velier releases - and perhaps even a little more. Very good."
"Strong, very aromatic blend, in which, according to my impression, the PM portion predominates, especially on the nose, which I like quite a bit. Really solid rum, full of character, but can not hold a candle to the AN and SWR of El Dorado. Update 2022-11-28: First impression fully confirmed at second tasting."
"First dominates PM - licorice, green apple, anise, oak and strong mocha. If you let him breathe, comes the SVW portion with caramel and some coconut. Then a nice lovely perfume note at the end. Very complex, balanced, interesting, alcohol barely noticeable.Warm, full-bodied and oily in the mouth. Very good!Epic finish.Great tropical ripened Demerara!!! But I must confess that the 1996 Enmore or the Albion excite me a notch more. 🥲 For PM fans a must."
