Immer noch ein toller Unaged Hampden. Bleibe begeistert. Auch in der Direktverkostung gegen den 18 monate älteren Bruder.

Toller unaged aus dem Hause Hampden. Schöner Fruchtkorb, alle typischen Hampdenaromen sind da. Man erkennt, wie viel Potential in den Abfüllungen dieser Distillerie steckt.

Gros blend jamaïcain dopés aux esters et fruits mûrs. Et malgré l'alcool, ça passe bien. C'est funky à souhait. Beaucoup aimé.

Ein richtig guter weißer Hampden.. Klasse Teil 😀🥃

In the nose, we find ourselves directly in the production department of pattex (it's glue for those who are not very handyman). It is ultra loaded in ester, there is rubber, solvents, nail polish ... But not that, we find some spices and exotic fruit as Hampden knows how to get it (melon and lemon peel). It is very fresh and fruity. What a nose !!!! The mouth is powerful and alcoholic but does not knock us out despite the 60.5%. It is rather surprising. We find the funky of Hampden and its esters, its olive and some very expressive fruit (green apple). It is intense, vigorous but the 60.5% are rather well integrated. It is even rather reassuring in the end.

Fruit, sugar cane, banana, grass and citrus

Ungelagerter High Ester Hampden mit den typischen Aromen (Ananas etc.). Also nix Komplexes, sondern Mundvollester. Etwas mehr Kanten als sein gelagerter Bruder vom selben Abfüller.

Very punchy funky white rum. Fruity but also acidic. The sour note makes it a bit off for me. Interesting but I think it works better as a cocktail base than as a neat sipper.
