Yet another very nice rum from plantation, this time one from Guyana, which is one of my favourite countries when talking about rum. A very well balanced nose with a bit of tobacco to it as well as a hint of vanilla. The finish is nice and long with some cinnamon to it. Well worth the money.
First nose is roast and some pepper. Some moments later it gets slight sweeter with baked sugar. The taste is again very roasty and pepper with some bittersweet notes. The finish comes with spices, burnt and some bittersweet notes. First sip was with a short finish, the second one last much longer. Nice rum. Fortunately, I still have got a spare bottle. :-)
Sweet messy Guyana stuff that really is fucked through all the additional sugar. Really nothing you should want to try. There is not much of the basis left. Could have been most rums and just being overpowered
