By rum lovers, for rum lovers
I'm Oliver – together with Jakob, Robert, and Lukas, we started RumX in 2018 as a small passion project in Stuttgart, back then under the name Rum Tasting Notes.
What began as a digital tasting diary is now the world's most comprehensive platform for rum fans: over 24,000 bottlings, 250,000+ independent reviews, and an active community with 47,000 members. We combine the collective intelligence of our community with an integrated marketplace, allowing you to shop securely and manage your collection directly from the app.
The goal? To offer you, the rum connoisseur, a place where you can choose with confidence—without paperwork, detours, or expert jargon.
Wieder mal ein Billigrum der nicht so viel kann, aber trotzdem ganz ok. Muss man nicht kaufen, aber wenn mann wenig Geld hat, kann man sich diesen Rum holen und notfalls auch zum Cocktail mischen nutzen.
At exactly the same price as viejo (green label), this rum is much milder, both in aroma and taste. It has a faint "classic" aroma of light rum (Spanish style) without harsh notes (hello viejo) - vanilla, confectionery. The taste is also inexpressive, also without harshness, like its "younger" brother. Unlike other rums, in this price category (up to $10-12), you can even drink it neat. In cocktails, it is weak due to the low degree.
Vo vôni sladkosť. Chuťovo celkom fajn: vanilka, tóny dreva, karamel. Dá sa aj samotný vypiť.
