The nose is dominated by apple, freshly picked and not washed with vegetal notes.In the mouth pleasantly sweet citrus jam with toasty hints and a touch of menthol which continues to hold in the finish.In between emerges here and there always a cheese note, does not have to be for me, but is exciting.All in all a really tasty Clairin
Die erste Nase überrascht mit ranzige Butter, Assoziationen zum Hampden Great House 2020 werden wach. Am Gaumen dann Schinken und Rauch! Der Räucherschinken wandert dominant in den Nachklang hinüber. Dies Art von Profil kannte ich bisher nur von Whisky! Alkoholische Schärfe ist nie zu spüren, sehr guter Rum!
Number 6 from the community tasting. Thanks Rumtata! Jamaica from Haiti - blindly I would have packed this into the Mid-East range from Trewlany. The rum is fruity and very round. This is delicious, but also a bit unspectacular because the Clairin-specific but very much in the background.
