How does this rum taste?
The Chairman’s Reserve Master's Selection from Saint Lucia Distillers is a limited-edition rum aged for 11 years. Distilled from molasses in 2009, this 46% ABV rum offers an intriguing profile, featuring notes of glue, tropical fruit, oak, toffee, and vanilla on the nose, with dried fruit, caramel, and leather on the palate. Despite some criticism for being slightly thin and alcoholic, users praise its tropical fruit flavors and good balance. This rare release of only 266 bottles appeals to collectors and rum enthusiasts alike. With its unique character and spices, it's a compelling sipper within the Chairman's collection. Its excellent price-performance ratio makes it a valuable addition to any collection.

Wow, this one surprised me personally! Nice sticky note that goes in the direction of tropical aged Diamond. Despite the 46%, it didn't seem very diluted! If it had been aged even longer and had more percentages...
Adhesive a little smoky and woody. Already good 🥃
12.02.2021 Sitting at home with some samples. Notes Medium to dark in colour. Nose Intense, wood, light roasted, tobacco, dried fruit, varnish, orange, light floral. Palate Wood, roasted, dried fruit, faint nutts, varnish, light caramel, medium dry, tannins. Finish Medium to long, medium dry, wood, roasted, light bitter, faint caramel, orange.
