“Nice and oily in the glass. Very pleasant nose with lots of fruit ... Ripe mango, banana, pineapple and papaya. Delicious fruit ester and light woody notes. Alcohol not very present. Slightly sweet and nicely fruity on the palate, but here paired with more woodiness and bitter tones. I can also taste a little vanilla 🫨. Acidity more present on the nose than on the palate but never disturbing. The finish is relatively monotonous with bitter chocolate and a dry mouthfeel. Alcohol relatively well integrated for me.”

“#4533 20.12.2023 Swapped myself to some nice SMWS samples and I'm definitely going to get my hands on some more. This is a pretty good Hampden and the price at release was pretty good. Fruity and medium ester level rum with a light smoky note. The palate is warm and fresh with a nice minty touch in the back. The finish is long, lightly dry and warm with nice fruits. The empty glass has some caramel and faint polish/glue.”

“Schöne Abfüllung, aber irgendwie nicht ganz so funky wie ich ihn erwartet habe. Geschmacklich kann man nicht wirklich viel daran aussetzen, aber denoch finde ich ihn ein wenig dünn. Für mich eher die Kategorie easy Sipper für zwischendurch.”
