How does this rum taste?
Obsidiana from Licorera Cihuatán leans heavily into sweet vanilla and caramel, with recurring mentions of tropical fruit and a rounded, slightly oily mouthfeel. Drinkers picked up macadamia and "sweetened mango, cinnamon" (@Kieron Wood), plus a playful hit of coffee and red fruits. It’s approachable, softly spicy, and drinks easy, though a sugary finish sticks around for some. As Tom Buteneers put it: "Ruikt fruitiger dan het smaakt maar wel een interessant profiel.

To Licorera Cihuatán
Woodier and somewhat fruitier on the nose than the Indigo. The chocolate aromas are roastier and darker. Vanilla, citrus, lots of barrel. The interplay of milk chocolate and fruit on the palate. Nuttier and spicier than the Indigo, not as ripe as the Cinabrio. Quaffable, but not as round as the rest of the range.
