The next Rum Explorer, this time Trinidad. A little better than the previous one, not quite as sweet. Orange on the nose but also a little wood. The orange/orange peel then predominates on the palate, but some coconut is also recognizable.
"Not bad for a 3-year-old In summary, my tasting notes: Nose: Dried fruit, woody On the palate: Orange zest" Finally we have some nice markers of TDL even if it's young, it's interesting.
Gourmet nose with some TDL notes, despite the strong reduction, and some white fruit reminiscent of the wine's finish. The palate is more disappointing, very light with notes of caramel and menthol. Syrupy. A pleasant rum for the aperitif A fine nose, but not much left behind...
