Good mixer, bold cane flavor, lacks complexity.
The "Coeur de Chauffe" presents sugarcane and earthy notes, with clove and peppery warmth. While ideal in cocktails, it lacks the complexity of premium agricoles.

How does this rum taste?
Coeur de Chauffe is a white agricole rum from the ReimonenQ distillery in Guadeloupe, distilled at 50% ABV from sugarcane juice using a column still. Known for its sugarcane-forward profile, it also features notes of lime, floral, and earthy aromas. On the palate, it presents warm sugarcane flavors with hints of clove, grassy undertones, and peppery spice. While appreciated for its robust profile, users often find it best suited for cocktails like Ti' Punch and Mojitos due to its lack of complex fruitiness. It is praised for its quality-to-price ratio but sometimes noted for lacking freshness compared to other premium agricoles.

"An Agricole Blanc with sting. It’s definitely very OK, but doesn’t reach the level of Montebello Blanc or Bielle Blanc. It was perfect in a White ‘N’ Stormy and I think it’s probably perfect in a Mojito."

"La Route des Rhums Adventskalender 2023 No. 4.
