24DoR2024 Another very sweet sample The sugar just wasted the time in the barrel

Sample no.9 of the 24 days of rum calendar 2022. The nose is very inviting with notes of sweet caramel, chocolate and dried raisins. Palate is round and nice with tropical fruits, caramel and raisins. Outstanding rum!

Stechender Alkohol in der Nase. Sehr süß im Geschmack, da stark nachgezuckert. Abgang mit einem Nichts. Gepantschter Mist. Zum Glück hatte ich nur eine Probe.

Hard to find something bad about this rum.

The taste is complex and delicate, with notes of dried fruits, vanilla, walnut and sherry! The taste ends balanced, slightly spicy - quite delicious actually.

One of my first biggest favorite of Sweet rums, better than Plantation XO. Great, definitelly recomanded for everyone. Sweet, string, fruity, with dark chocolate. Beautifull bottle, recommended for a gift .

A great representative of the "Spanish" style. Some fruit on the nose in the direction of raisins and sherry, more prominent are nutty aromas, especially walnut. Very similar on the palate, lots of nuts and dried fruit and of course the cask. A little sweeter and unfortunately a little weak at 40%, more would be great here!

Solid pleasant rum. One does nothing wrong with.

Very easy to go to sipping rum. One of the entries into the diversity of rum for me. A sweetness in the nose, and very flavorful, with notes of butterscotch, vanilla and tropical fruits. Good for almost anyone, and works well with desserts

Great taste with sharp finish back on tongue

Caramell, Holz und Alkohol in der Nase, leicht nussig. Cremig mild, holzig/ledrig mit süßer Würze. Guter Abgang, Würze bleibt.

Ein süßer Rum mit Sherry-Note. In der Nase süßrumtypisch Karamell, Schokolade und Vanille. Am Gaumen überzeugt er mit seiner Komplexität. Gewürze, Vanille, Schokolade und Sherry. Eine wirklich interessante Mischung.

Ron solera sympa , nez boisé épicé et légèrement végétale, en bouche il a de belle note de bois torrifié de vanille et de sucre candy , la final est noyenne plutôt sur le bois et toujours le sucre candy.

Sample no 9 of the 24 days of rum 2022. Fancy sweet rum. Reminds me of Dos Maderas 5+5 or Selección for roughly half a price. Very nicely balanced sweet rum. Hints of coffee, toffee, nougat, caramel and raisins, maybe sherry. It is not overly sweet even though it is rather sweet a lot but thanks to how it is balanced it is not a problem. If I would have a chance to grab it in some discounted price below 40€, I would go for it. Otherwise it does not make sense I would rather go for Dos Maderas.
