Kingsbury Port Mourant 1974
Highly praised vintage Port Mourant: concentrated wood, marzipan, tea and dark fruits with oily texture and long, warm finish. A historic, characterful sipper that impresses despite the modest ABV.
Seasoned Demerara and vintage lovers who enjoy dry, wood-driven profiles with tea, leather, marzipan and concentrated, old-cask character more than sweetness or heavy fruit.

How does this rum taste?
Old-school, tea‑and‑marzipan Port Mourant
If you enjoy mature Demeraras like 90s REVs or older PMs but don’t need cask strength, this gives you that deep, woody-marzipan profile in a more relaxed 46% package.
Beginners, sweetness-seekers, or anyone wanting a thick, high-ABV, plum-heavy Port Mourant; the dry tannins, tea notes and subtle fruit can feel thin or austere.

05.03.2022 The yearly event by whisky.dk and one I'll continue to go to. This time with some of my colleagues of which some where whisky drinkers. They got an introduction to Jamaica and they liked it. Notes. This one was hidden at one of our favourite vendors and as soon as I arrived it was pulled out and we got a really good discount on the sample. Lots of wood in the profile without it being too dominant. Light fruit and spices and an oily warm palate. Long and lasting finish with light licorice. Love the marzipan note.
A rather atypical PM, with lots of marzipan, wood and honey. Had I blindly not necessarily typed Guyana, almost Rockley.
