“Eigentlich stehe ich nicht so sehr auf die Reifung in Weinfässern. Bei diesem ist das Weinfass präsent, aber nicht zu dominant. Rund und trotzdem komplex. Der niedrige Alkoholgehalt steht dem Rum sehr gut!”

“Nase: ziemlich fein, Zitrusfrüchte, Holz und Gewürz. Leichte Zitronenschale mit Mandarine und etwas Kirsche, Orangeat, wie in Früchtebrot. Dahinter deutlich eine feine Schokoladen-Note. Bei dem Gewürz bin ich ggf. bei Kardamom, aber nur ganz wenig. Und irgendwie ist da etwas Wein hinten versteckt. Schöne, feine Nase, könnte aber intensiver sein. Gaumen: durch aus meiner Sicht zu wenig ABV doch recht leicht. Hab als erstes Orangeat mit einer leichten Säure, dahinter Früchtebrot und grüner werdend. Jetzt kommt auch das Zuckerrohr. Wirkt fast etwas blumig. Im Abgang verbleibt leicht Orangeat mit Zuckerrohr und etwas grünem Geäst. Leider viel zu sehr verdünnt um bei mir Punkten zu können. Ansonsten ein schönes Aromenprofil.”

“This one made me think about a Caroni :-) The burnt rubber is there and overall a good rum. Not as fruity as the others but nice and spicy. Once rested its really nice.”
