27.03.2021 A nice Velier tasting thanks to my friend Cheng from Singapore. Notes Medium dark in colour. Nose Intense, light wood, fruity, pineapple, light strawberries, herbs, faint chocolate, light ester. Palete Round, fresh, light wood, berries, light chocolate, dried fruit, faint herbs, spice. Finish Medium long, light wood, fruity, berries, light orange, faint chocolate.
This is only the second of the endemic bird series from Hampden I’ve been table to try. 10 year old single cask (250 bottles total) of their LROK marque. Tasting note: pineapple, papaya, banana peel, glue, allspice, clove
