The "Trelawny Endemic Birds (Sad Flycatcher) LFCH" was produced in Jamaica at the Hampden distillery. It was selected and bottled by the independent bottler Velier. It was distilled in 2011 from Molasses and then aged for 9 years. The rum has an ABV of 60,3% and the mark is LFCH. Dank Johannes war es möglich diesen kleinen Birds Flight zu machen. Im Rennen waren 2xOWH, 5xLFCH (darunter den HV LFCH gemischt) und 2xLROK. Als Fazit meiner Seits, ab LROK machen sie mehr Spaß, die Low Ester Fraktion geht schon. Meiner Meinung nach, sind die Birds das Geld nicht wert, sondern eher ein Sammelobjekt. Große Unterschiede sind für mich nicht wirklich zu erkennen.
14.11.2020 Only have notes on this one. Nose: wood, light smoke, ester, solvents, banane, overripe. Palate: lightly oily, wood, ester, pineapple, overripe, vanilla, citrus. Finish: very long, warm, wood, roasted, fruity. Medium dry.
