Compared to the 1999 this one ia a lot better. Far more punch in the flavours and wood. Still on the sweet side and kind of syrupy, without it being too dominant.

It’s the best one in the “Rare Proof Series” first batch. It’s seems that Panama is my favorite country when it comes to the sweet Spanish styled Ron, cause I also like “Ron Zafra”.

For 20 years this is very sharp. Sweetened although not to a massiv level. All I. All it is fine. But kind of forgettable...

Fruchtige Noten verstecken sich hinter starker Vanille und süße. Im Geschmack stechen salzige Cashews raus. Insgesamt zu süß.

L’alcool est pas très bien intégré et le côté trop astringent est dérangeant pendant la dégustation. Sinon c’est un bon rhum de mélasse. Fruit exotique confit, caramel, épices pâtissières au nez avec une touche de bois. En bouche on retrouve les épices le caramel un peu cuit, la vanille, et le bois. La finale est longue mais très piquante.
