"Wow endlich mal wieder eine positive Überraschung von CDI. Tolle Nase die Sherrylagerung übertüncht den Rum nicht. Fabelhafte Mischung. "
"I am once again pleasantly surprised by CDI! The sherry finish is clearly present, but does not overpower the rum and is well integrated. It's fun!"
"Tasting 19/4-24 Peters Vin. Nose: A lot is going on. Dried fruits and the sherry finish is very clear. Taste: Lots of dried fruits, raisins, dates, figs. And the sherry finish is very well integrated . Finish: Some driness, long and very delicious. The best rum of the evening.."
"The nose is clearly dominated by sherry alongside spicy fruit. Therefore slightly sulphurous, dried apricot, some grape. Mr. sour of green apple or pear. Only wood and smoke come through. On the palate, the sherry cask unfortunately overpowers the Guyana. The fruit moves a little more towards cherry. What remains is nutmeg spice, some wood and ... sherry. Not bad, but a little arbitrary."
