Tasted this rum during my recent visit at the distillery. After the aging process it was planned to be released early 2019, but due to the pandemic they waited and used the time to let the ABV very slowly be reduced before bottled in 4000 numbered bottles. The nose is pleasant, fruity, woody and a little spicy with scents of yellow fruits. At the palate it’s complex, woody, nutty, spicy and fruity with flavors of vanilla, orange, apricot and sugarcane. The finish is long, elegant and aromatic.
