Farbe: Bernstein Geruch: Sehr süß und aromatisch. Alkoholisch-fruchtig mit Tabak und Toffee Aromen. Sauber ohne Fehlnoten. Geschmack: Zuerst süß im Mund mit Vanille, dann alkoholisch scharf. Beim Schlucken sehr würzig mit Toffee und Karamell. Zudem bei dem Alkoholgehalt natürlich alkoholisch-scharf. Abgang: Lang Alkoholisch, Toffee, würzig-scharf, altes Holz. Schwach bitter im Nachgeschmack. Fazit: lecker, ohne Fehler 85 Punkte
Nase recht verhalten, im Mund dann kräftiger. Mit der Zeit kommen schöne Pfirsich-Fruchtnoten durch. Ein entspannterer TDL, finde ich gut weil man ihn häufiger trinken kann als die von anfang der 2000er
Nice column still expression. A little unassuming, however.
Das ist kein sehr dreckiger TDL. Die Nase ist sehr weich und süß mit einem Hauch Verbranntheit, vor allem aber Milch oder Molke - das ist eher ungewöhnlich und nicht nur angenehm. Dazu etwas getrocknete Frucht und sehr reife Cantaloupe Melone. Der Mund ist noch recht jung: Viel Frucht und eine leichte Säure macht aus der Milch Joghurt. Die pflanzliche Seite, vor allem die Minze fehlt völlig 😢. Dafür gibt es eine weihnachtliche: Ingwer, gebrannte Mandeln und Koriandersaat. Der Abgang ist eher kurz, bringt dafür aber nochmal etwas Rauchigkeit. Die Komplexität und Tiefe geht ihm mit nur 11 Jahren etwas ab. Dennoch ist es ein intensiver, harmonischer Rum der auf der Grenze zwischen spanischem und englischem Stil spaziert, ähnlich wie Barbados. Sicher etwas, das ich öfter trinken werde.
