“This is great cinema. The maturity of this Port Mourant is on point. In the nose perfectly integrated into the wood Earl Grey, then a Christmas profile with ripe fruit, ginger, cinnamon and cloves. The then prominent anise on the palate I do not yet find in the nose.In the mouth a fantastic balance. A sweet tickle on the tip of the tongue, then Earl Grey again and the Christmas notes from the nose. Plus mint and then the fruits hit, mainly citrus but also some intense tropical fruit like pineapple.The finish is long, smooth and harmonious and brings out the familiar flavors again. A fantastic rum, just lacks some depth and a few rough edges. So far my best continental matured PM. Unfortunately, my sample is already empty 😭”
