Chairman's Reserve Master’s Selection (Royal Mile Whiskies) is a distinguished rum from Saint Lucia, produced at the renowned Saint Lucia Distillers. Distilled in 2011 using a Vendome Pot Still and aged for 9 years, this limited edition rum delivers an intense woody and vanilla aroma with subtle notes of tar, orange, and banana. On the palate, it offers a bold mix of woody, vanilla, and medicinal flavors with a warming finish. Another great St. Lucia, for its 9 years already very much on the mature side. Fantastically balanced nose, on the palate with typical notes as well as wood and caramel, the fruits are rather dark and in the background. Great alcohol integration. St. Lucia can do no wrong!
Very fruity but with a good molasses taste. Oily mouthfeel. Very long finish
06.11.2021 Another visit to "Den Danske Rom & Whiskyfestival and once again with special access and many very drunk people both days. Notes. Very nice release with good overall balance. Lightly fruity and intense with medicinal notes. Oily palate with spicy touch. Very long and warm finish.
Big flavours here. St Lucia is not for the weak. In the nose a somewhat French Oaky roasted banana feel. A bit of funk. Not unlike Worthy Park. Complex. Lovely. Taste: Boom! Elegant and intense both. Tropical fruit. Still the French Oak. Rubber. Flowers. There's so much here. Really really good.
