Franconian Tasting Gang on 23.11.24 at Jarek. The Chairman's from WuDramClan had to serve as a comparison to this bottling. As a conclusion for me, this rum is a little overrated. Personally, I like the bottling from WDC a tick better.
Delicious St. Lucia ... more on the fermented fruity side with banana and mango. I like it very much on the nose. Also overpowering on the palate with fermented fruit and wood ripeness. Very tasty. You can take it with you without hesitation. A great Vendome.
A pretty good St. Lucia, with a subtle nose, an intense palate and a somewhat unusual cherry flavor for me. Reminds me a little of a Ten Cane. If the alcohol had been better integrated, I would have given it a better rating.
