"I love these high ABV releases from Kill Devil because they usually hit the mark. From opening the bottle you get the fruity ester notes and as the poured rum "cures" in the glass the flavours can be picked up from the other side of the table. I love the oily texture and the nice roasted woody notes that blend very well with the fruit and spice notes."
"Tolle Frucht! Für einen eher low Ester perfekt! Alkohol super eingebunden!"
"Balanced nose with tropical fruits, spices, wood and esters. The palate is dominated by trop. Fruits, especially pineapple, plus esters, wood and unfortunately also medicinal notes and a slight bitterness. Good 92 HD, but not Champions League."
