How does this rum taste?
What reviewers love most about No. 2 C<>H is its incredibly expressive nose, which fills the room with notes of pineapple, banana, and a classic Hampden glue-like aroma. The palate follows with deeply overripe tropical fruit and spice, balanced beautifully at a powerful 65.8% ABV. Many call it the best Hampden they've tasted, with a long, warming finish and exceptional complexity worth savoring.

Really good Hampden! For me, the Nobilis 1993 still has the best nose I could try so far (olfactory the Essens Hampden, I can sniff it for hours) ...Taste he still does not need to hide ... definitely a highlight!
A great continental Hampden, I love it.
Absolutely fantastic nose. Taste still exceptionally good, but no longer quite on par with the olfactory impression. But would also be almost too good to be true. Nevertheless, wonderfully complex on the palate with a mixture of fruit esters, heavy sweetness, wood and smoke - a terrific Hampden!
An incredible rum. This nose is just outstanding. The taste is just a blast. Such great fruit and so complex. For me, the best rum I have ever drunk.
