27.02.2021 A nice blind tasting in a friend's home. Bottles covered in tin foil and only numbers to match up the glass with the bottle. Notes Medium dark in colour. Nose Intense, faint wood, fruity, pineapple, balance, ester, light earthy, cinnamon. Palate Intense, light wood, faint smoke, balanced, light licorice, banana, overripe, ester, faint chocolate. Finish Very long and warm, medium dry, fruity, cinnamon, ester faint chocolate, light cherry. Extra note. Very well balanced rum overall. Once rested the ABV is well integrated and barely noticed.
