The "Unshared Cask for Germany" from Savanna distillery is a rare Reunion rum, distilled in 2006 from molasses and aged for 13 years. Bottled at cask strength with an ABV of 64.8%, only 264 bottles were made. This powerful spirit boasts intense aromas of glue and wood, with underlying medicinal and spicy notes. On the palate, it delivers dominant ester and black pepper flavors, along with yellow fruits. While praised for its complex profile and depth, it exhibits a high alcohol intensity, demanding patience and a refined palate.
