The "Unshared Cask for Germany" from Savanna distillery is a rare Reunion rum, distilled in 2006 from molasses and aged for 13 years. Bottled at cask strength with an ABV of 64.8%, only 264 bottles were made. This powerful spirit boasts intense aromas of glue and wood, with underlying medicinal and spicy notes. On the palate, it delivers dominant ester and black pepper flavors, along with yellow fruits. 01.05.2021 Only have notes on this one. Nose: wood, roasted, medicinal, fruity, glue, citrus. Palate: wood, spicy, citrus, fruity, cinnamon. Finish: long and warm, pineapple, spice, earthy, mint.
It's not bad. It drinks well. Well integrated alcohol, nice length. For me a little too spicy.
