With a woody and spicy aroma, featuring notes of glue, papaya, and apple, it has a complex flavor profile of black pepper, ester, yellow fruits, ginger, and wood. “Au nez, c’est industriel, il y a du vernis et de la colle. Des fruits mûres, très mûres. Des fruits secs toastés-grillés et du chocolat noir. En bouche, il y a des fruits jaunes (banane, figue …) mais surtout des épices (gingembre-poivre). C’est plutôt sec sur le tabac. La finale est longue sur le boisé brûlé et l’olive. Ce profil aromatique est très singulier, et loin d’être gourmand. C’est très atypique et cela ne m’a pas vraiment plu. Je n’ai pas vraiment pris de plaisir sur ce rhum hormis d’essayer de décortiquer les arômes.”
