How does this rum taste?
Reviewers are most struck by the intense fruitiness and smoky complexity of this Savanna limited release. Many mention a powerful hit of tropical fruit on the nose, balanced by menthol and deep woody notes, while the palate brings black pepper, toasted wood, and lingering warmth. Drinkers often enjoy it after letting it breathe, with some noting it shines when shared among enthusiasts. It's highly rated for its unique, changing character and long finish—worth considering if you want something a bit different.

A high quality spirit...no question...Taste just creepy...is really hard for me to rate this rum...
30.05.2020 Had a nice afternoon with friends and friends of friends including some nice bottles of rum. Notes Medium dark colour. Nose Wood, light smoke, fruity, raisin, ester, vegetal, light mint. Palate Round, fresh, wood, roasted, medium dry, light mint, dried fruit, faint licorice. Finish Medium to long, wood, light smoke, light licorice, raisin, light leather.
First complicated nose not engaging with olive/brine... Fortunately, it diminishes after aeration. Smoky side, almost peaty, too present.
