“Nicht immer nur High-End, auch mal einfacher Rum findet seinen weg in mein Glas. Das Sample war ein „Mitgebsel“. Vorweg: was mich tatsächlich immer stört an eigenen Rum Beschreibungen, sind Attribute wie prämiert, nach Familienrezept hergestellt usw. So auch hier. Was sagt „nach einem Familienrezept hergestellt“ überhaupt aus? Genau, gar nix! Es gibt keine Aussage über genaue Herkunft, Alter oder Lagerung. Immerhin ohne Zucker und Aromen. Das ist gut!!! Wollen mal sehen: Nase: ja, da ist Jamaika drin. Leichte Ester, aber vor allem Zitrone und Limette. Kommt dadurch recht frisch rüber. Geht aber auch deutlich Richtung Spülmittel. Dahinter kommt Vanille hinzu. Wirkt insgesamt schwach und dünn, was mit der Reduktion auf 40% einhergeht. 6,0 Gaumen: erwartungsgemäß recht dünn und verwässert. Aber durchaus würzig. Finde hier etwas Kardamom, Nelke und Kümmel neben Zitrone. Hier aber eher künstliches Zitronat oder Orangeat, wie in Früchtenbrot. Leider kein typischer Jamaika-Vertreter. 5,0 Es ist ein einfacher Blend, der Einsteiger als Zielgruppe hat und als nettes Hamburg-Mitbringsel geeignet ist. Mehr ist er in meinen Augen aber auch nicht. Sorry.”
