"Another nice tasting finished, this time with rums from the Domenican Republic. In my mind this rum will be too sweet for many, but a good rum none the less. The complexity is hidden under the sweetness and in my mind it should have been amped up with a little more proof. Price tag is really good compared to what you get. "

The woodiness is present and even takes over the other aromas, without overpowering them. So, caramel is still present, as vanilla and a hint of bourbon fruitiness, there is still some peach, a hint of an alcohol, wood spice, roastedness, bitterness. 6,8:The finish is quite long and moderately sweet. It is dominated by the notes of bourbon ageing, so the wood, coconut, peaches, vanilla and some roasted nuts, perhaps leather."
