"Nose is already very woody but there is still some herbaceous freshness. In the mouth then very woody, astringent, from the fresh herbs has remained only some tobacco. Then comes the all overlaying, intense licorice note that remains in the mouth for minutes. I don't like licorice 🤷♂️ Clearly too woody for my tasteRusty together with the two RA 2004 and the SBS 2006. This 1994 REV falls a bit off the grid, on one hand the herbaceousness of the 2004, on the other the dried fruit from the 2006. For me, it's all the same marrow, even if this one has a special position thanks to its age and lots of wood."

"I have started on bottle number two :-) A great rum with a flavour profile literally jumping you from the glass once poured. Very fruity from nose to finish with roasted oak to it. Only slightly dry which only compliments the profile. A great rum even considering the price. "

"Very good Enmore REV. (more or less same smells, tastes as the 2020 version) Leather, Tobacco, black tea, wood, dried fruits in the nose. Complex and delicious in mouth, where you‘ll find all the tastes from before. Finish is medium long, dry and very elegant. Alcohol is not integrated as good as in the 2020 version. 3rd place of my enmore tasting!"

"Un Enmore fantastique dont on ressent tout le vieillissement et la complexité. Le nez exhibe des arômes de fruits secs, de prunes et de fruits rouges, avant de laisser place aux notes d’herbes, d’épices, des notes sombres et empyreumatiques de noix torréfiées, de tabac et de café. Le cuir et les notes florales complètent ce profil parfaitement équilibré. L’attaque en bouche est intense, chaude sur les épices et le piment, les notes rôties, le tabac, le boisé, le cacao et les fruits à coque, on ressent toujours les fruits secs et la prune, les notes herbeuses et florales. L’alcool est parfaitement intégré. La finale, extrêmement longue, continue sur le même profil avec une pointe d’amertume et de fraîcheur. Un rhum envoûtant, qui délivre une formidable expérience olfactive et gustative."

"Déjà le nez est un pur bonheur. Demerara sombre, profond. Arômes de pruneaux, de réglisse et très végétal. En bouche le boisé est très présent, normal vu l'âge de la bête mais il laisse de l'espace au reste. C'est un grand demerara. Merci Chris! "

"94er REV bleibt für mich bei den interessanten aber nicht favorisierten Profilen. Dieser hier ist ein stärkerer Vertreter des Marks und hat einen sehr guten Ruf und viele Fans. Mich stört die Kräutrigkeit. Sehr vielseitig und komplex. Ein Rum, bei dem man immer wieder Neues finden kann. Super PLV beim Release."
