After resting for 15-20 minutes this one will settle a lot and reveal a nicely integrated ABV. Fruity with nice light roasted wood and a touch of caramel. Has a nice warm and woody finish with some chocolate. The empty glass reveals even stronger notes. Price to quality is pretty good.
Delicious and round rum, reminds me directly of Cihuatan rum from El Salvador. Harmonizing notes of fruit, caramel, vanilla and nut, complemented by bitter notes like coffee and chocolate. Marzipan, pineapple and coconut are very evident to me. Increased spice and bitterness in the mouth, but caramel/chocolate/coconut again in the finish. Top!
Relaxed rum with a pronounced coconut note and lots of toffee, but also a certain astringency and bitterness. Very strong for a Spanish style rum. I liked very much
Lots of coconut, dried fruit and nice wood ripeness. Very well integrated alcohol, nice and warm and full but not complex.Blind I would guess Foursquare, with a slight Demerara impact.A really good sipper, new territory wins the flavor profile but not.
