Ein weicher und leichter Rum. Cuvée aus Barbados (Foursquare), Nicaragua und Dom Rep mit Finish in irischen Whiskyfass. Meine Befürchtung war, dass Whiskyaromen die Überhand einnehmen, aber es ist keine Rauchbombe, sondern eine würzige Ergänzung der eher süßen Rums.
Messeverkostung, daher knapper: Das Fassfinish kommt sehr schön durch - insgesamt bleibt das Ganze aber gefühlt irrelevant und zu teuer. Guter Ansatz, keinesfalls schlecht aber halt irgendwie belanglos. Schade, denn der Herr dahinter hat einen unglaublichen Enthusiasmus.
Interessant. Durch die Nachreifung in irischen Whisk-Fässern ein Hybrid aus Rum und Whisky.
