30.05.2020 Had a nice afternoon with friends and friends of friends including some nice bottles of rum. Notes Medium dark colour. Nose Light wood, roasted, herbs, light chocolate, workshop. Palate Oily, natural sweetness, wood, light roasted, balanced, light chocolate, dried fruit. Finish Medium to long, wood, fruit cake, light herbs.
We move away from the typical PM with the DNA of wet wood. Here it is more delicate and charming. greedy nose on exotic fruits with notes of vanilla and pepper. We find the smoked-toasted-woody of the PM but less omnipresent than usual. It is fresh. In mouth it is warm and fat! We are on peppery notes, slightly iodized-smoked. The alcohol is perfectly integrated. Nice metallic notes are present. The molasses persists and rounds the whole. Nice long sweet finish that leaves a real pleasure in the mouth. Very beautiful rum of tasting, a warm attack.
