“This is a very accessible Agricole and I think most Ca actually drink it. The Agricole flavours are very subtle. Lightly fruity with spices and some chocolate and toddee. I noticed that after a few hours the glass had a wonderful nose.”

“Blindtasting 01.02.2024, 3. Rum Nase: sehr angenehm, warm, Kirsche, mild, tief - ein Agricole? Gaumen: grasig, leicht, fällt gegenüber dem guten Eindruck in der Nase etwas ab Auflösung: Immerhin richtig, Agricole. Gibt aber deutlich bessere. Johannes hatte hier bei der Blindverkostung sogar auf La Favorite getippt, was angesichts der schier unübersehbaren Auswahl an Agricoles schon sehr bemerkenswert ist.”

“Le nez : poire et de la cerise aigre/porto plutôt désagréable Bouche : légère sur la vanille et un profil herbacé Finale : sur le poivre mentholé mais pas suffisamment longue pour un rhum de ce calibre Cette réserve du château 2002-2020 est plutôt décevante. Nez pas très attrayant, bouche trop légère et finale pas suffisamment longue. Au vu de son prix, c’est frustrant.”
