wow. trotz dem hohen Alkoholgehalt und den 19y unglaublich geil fruchtig und harmonisch. Kirsche, Mandarine, Piment, Vanille, Ananas und extrem viel Menthol sowohl an der Nase als auch im Geschmack in absoluter Harmonie. dazu etwas feige, Kirsch Hubba bubba und Kakaonibs dezent mit Ahornsirup und Holz und schwarzem Pfeffer. Wenn er ein ticken weniger "verbrannt bitter" und Holzig wäre, wäre es mir lieber aber dennoch eine Granate!🤤❤️🇱🇨🥂

Sehr spannender Rum! Während in der Nase für mich fruchtige und bissige Noten dominieren, machte sich am Gaumen das Alter doch bemerkbar: trockene, gewürzige Aromen, Holz unterstreichen das, was in der Nase eher leicht anklang. Wenn auch etwas bissig, liefern die 65% ABV eine Menge Geschmack (zumindest mehr, als die 56% des Evanius Harris).

Au nez, c’est boisé, 19 ans de vieillissement tropical, cela marque le rhum ! Très fruité sur la cerise et les agrumes. Mais le gros du nez est sur le boisé (voir toasté-grillé). C’est complexe et riche avec des notes de vanille et d’épices. En bouche, on retrouve le côté fruité sur les agrumes et la cerise mais comme le nez le présagé, c’est très porté sur des notes empyreumatiques (boisé-torréfié-cuir). On retrouve également un peu de chocolat amer et de la vanille. La finale est belle et longue sur le poivré. Cette sélection plaira particulièrement aux amoureux des rum plus lourd.
