How does this rum taste?
The S.B.S Dominican Republic 2007 stands out with a bold mix of caramel, vanilla, and roasted oak, balanced by hints of orange. Distilled from sugar cane juice and aged for 13 years, its 50% ABV provides a robust profile. Our community of RumX members has noted that while the strong alcohol presence may seem a bit intense initially, a drop of water unlocks a smoother blend of cocoa, vanilla, and woody tones. This limited release is a fascinating choice for collectors and enthusiasts seeking a complex tasting journey with both bright and subtly subdued elements.

Pleasant, dark and roasty. Despite the 50%, however, too watered down in the mouthfeel. Short finish.
Schon vergessen.
A drop of water releases a lot of flavours.
